I actually managed to get some crafting done the last couple of days.  My boys are on mid term break, baby has a bad cold, partner has a bad cold, I got tonsillitis, had to help partner get his companies VAT done, but still, I managed to craft and not just throw it together Hunkydory either...I'm so pleased with myself!

My first card was with the Stampendous Dragonfly Vine stamp and my old creative expressions Swirls stamps.  I used the resist technique and several shades of blue, pink and purple Distress Inks for the background.  Stamped the Dragonfly Vine in Memento Black and highlighted it with a white gelli roll pen.  I designed the sentiment myself using Craft Artist 2, Swirls 2 and two compatible fonts and then used my Theresa Collins stamp maker to create it.  I stamped the sentiment onto Vellum, put strips of red tape on either end, coated it in Hunkydory Glitter and then put it all together.

My Second Card was with the Stampendous Rose Heart, again using the resist technique but this time accenting the roses with Promarkers.  I designed and created the sentiment stamp myself again.

Got To Love HunkyDory!

Especially when someone asks for a card for the next day.  In these circumstances HunkyDory saves the day every time.

1 x 8" x 8" card and 1 x DL card from one topper sheet and one A4 backing card, added an A4 sheet of Silver Mirror card and some rainbow gems...They turned out lovely.

Time For Christmas Cards

This is my favourite layout and one of my favourite artists.

This is an 8" x 8" card with Mirri Card base, white glitter card, white and blue Centura pearl card.  Snowflake and snow drop embossing folders.  I can't remember where I got the swirls from but the Snowflakes are from Spellbinders 2013 Snowflake Pendant dies.

Girlz Got It Going On! Thought I'd Have Another Go...

with this one. This is my take on Louise's card, I used a mix of old and new, old lace embellishments and new, up to date topper and backing and I quite like the finished result.  I've had the self adhesive cork backing paper for a while and never had the chance to use it.  I like the texture it brings to the card along with the lace.KennyK's Krafty Krew
